  5. CYBER CULTURE is a fully-graphical hypertext
  6. magazine for Windows.  We don't want to tell you
  7. everything here, but we will tell you how to get
  8. it running on your system.

  11. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  12. ===================
  13. You will need any computer that runs Windows 3.1
  14. in VGA or any higher video mode.  If you haven't
  15. deleted any Windows system files or removed the
  16. standard TrueType fonts, you are set!  If you
  17. want sound bytes and you downloaded CC, make
  18. sure you have a "CS####.ZIP" along with the
  19. "CC####.ZIP" file.  If you received a diskette,
  20. don't worry -- you've got the sounds!

  22. NOTE: you cannot run the "go" executable from a
  23. DOS screen or window -- you must use a Windows
  24. program to launch it (see below).

  27. TO RUN FROM A DOWNLOAD
  28. ======================
  29. 1. Open "Program Manager" or "File Manager"
  30. 2. Select the "Run" option from the "File" menu
  31. 3. Type the path where you extracted the files
  32.    to followed by "go" like this:

  34.    c:\dir\GO
  35.  
  36.    and click OK.

  39. TO RUN FROM A DISKETTE
  40. ======================
  41. If we sent it, read the label.  Otherwise:

  43. 1. Open "Program Manager" or "File Manager"
  44. 2. Select the "Run" option from the "File" menu
  45. 3. Type A:GO (substitute B: if necessary)
  46.    and click OK.

  49. ADD AN ICON TO YOUR PROGRAM MANAGER
  50. ===================================
  51. It's pretty easy -- just press F1 inside your
  52. Program Manager.  Search through the help file
  53. for "Adding an Icon ..." and follow the
  54. instructions.  If you are using another shell,
  55. consult it's manual or help file.
